B. For Financial Assistance, Contact Apple Store Support:

You need to contact Apple Support Directly. This is a User-to-User forum. We are all volunteers. So, as you may suspect, no one here has access to that information — and that is a good thing, BTW. That’s why for Financial Assistance, you need to contact Apple Support. They’ll see what’s going on and will run you through the fix.

Apple Contact Info:

  • Contact Us - Choose Locations
  • Proceed from there, as necessary
  • Why the Wait:
  • Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)

The actual fix is different for every user and every condition that might cause a billing problem, so there is no “actual fix” that works in all cases.

However, there IS a fix for account disabled; there are basically 2 reasons that your Apple ID might be locked or disabled. The first is that there was suspicious activity on your account, either too many password attempts by you, or someone trying to hack your account. The other is that a payment failed to go through and you need to resolve the charge or dispute. Link 1 below covers the first reason, and link 2 the second. For the second you will have to use the link in the posted tip to contact an iTunes & App Store representative. Click the link below that most closely matches the error message you are seeing:

  1. If your Apple ID is locked or disabled - Apple Support
  2. If you see a message that says 'Your account has been disabled in the App Store and iTunes' - Apple Support
