I read on a website that in 2024 the apple iPhone 6s Plus will no longer get updated software how true is that?

iPhone 6s or 6sPlus models were firstly released on September 25, 2015. They support iOS 15.8 version and, even if they are going to become obsolete in 2024 or 2025, that doesn't mean that you can't use them, being aware of their limits.
