How do I get rid of gray star ratings in iTunes Music?

In my playlist, a couple albums have the gray stars and nothing I do gets rid of them--they weren't even there yesterday. Today is the first time I've ever seen them! I'm using iTunes 12.13.0.9, which is the latest version as far as I'm aware.

I've read up on all the solutions. Going to Albums and removing the rating that way only gets rid of the *blue* ratings that I *want* to be there--and leaves all the gray ones alone!

Also, I know user turingtest2 is recommending scripts, but that's only for Mac. I have Windows (i.e. Windows 11, fully updated). There should be a solution within iTunes itself! Can anyone help please??? There are specific things I do with ratings that structure my playlist, so having a bunch of random grays is completely unacceptable. Help!

EDIT: This post is showing that I'm using Windows 6. That's not true. I'm using Windows 11 (the latest version with all updates).
