Dual external monitor setup using Intel Macbook and Dell docking station not working after update to macOS Sonoma

I have a 2019 16-inch Intel Macbook Pro (the touch bar one), a DELL WD19TB docking station and two DELL P2419H external monitors. One monitor is connected to the docking station using a display port to display port connection, the other one uses a display port to thunderbolt connection.

This used to work fine for 2.5 years, until I updated to macOS Sonoma.

Now, the monitor connected via display port says it doesn’t have a signal most times when I wake up my Macbook from sleeping. Unplugging and reconnecting docking station to Macbook fixes the issue immediately.

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 14.1
