There are a few signs you can look for to determine if your iPhone is jailbroken:

  1. Look for apps that wouldn't typically be available on the App Store. Some jailbreak apps may have unique icons or names that stand out.
  2. Jailbreaking can sometimes cause instability or unusual behavior in the operating system. If you're experiencing frequent crashes, freezes, or strange errors, it could be a sign of a jailbroken device.
  3. Jailbreaking can potentially compromise the security of your device, making it more susceptible to malware or unauthorized access. If you notice any unusual activities, such as unauthorized logins or data breaches, it might indicate a jailbroken device.
  4. If you have technical knowledge, you can use apps or tools to access system files and check for alterations or files associated with jailbreaking.

Remember that the absence of Cydia doesn't necessarily mean your phone isn't jailbroken. Some advanced users can hide Cydia or use alternative methods to install unauthorized apps without Cydia appearing on the home screen. If you're unsure or suspect that your device might be compromised, you might consider restoring your iPhone to its factory settings to remove any jailbreak and ensure it's secure. However, note that this will erase all data on your phone, so make sure to back up important information before doing so.
