You cannot install Instagram on an iPhone 6. An iPhone 6 can only install IOS version 12.5.7, Instagram requires iOS 15 or later.

Try using the web version.

Since Instagram app requires iOS 15 or later version, your iPhone 6 (firstly released 10 years ago) cannot be updated past version 12.5.7, because of hardware (CPU/RAM) limits, sorry.

You neead a new(er) iPhone model, supporting at least iOS 15 version.
