The message "Accessory Not Supported" this acessory is not supported by this device will not go away. Can't turn off Ipad or make the message go away. What do I need to do?

Can't get Ipad to respond while the message is on the screen and can't get the message to go away.

See >>> If you see an ‘Accessory may not be supported’ alert - Apple Support

If you are using a Smart (folio) or Magic keyboard, the alert is typical of a faulty keyboard. The electrical connections that pass through the flexible fabric hinges typically fracture - this usually resulting in errors and/or the on-screen notification that you see.

If your iPad is unresponsive while connected to a keyboard, disconnect the keyboard.
