My itunes will not update. I get an error message saying it is missing the Apple update file. I've done a regedit search for the file and it doesn't find any.

BTW, did you install from the Microsoft Store or directly from Apple? I ask because the Microsoft version may not include that file but updates should be automatic from Microsoft.

my computer is missing the Apples Software Update.msi file. My iTunes cannot update either. I have Windows 10 and this is 2023. The previous answers to this question are from 10 years ago.
