Missing magnifier tool

After I updated to iOS 17, the magnifier tool which appeared earlier when we used to edit pictures or screenshot is missing ?

I am not talking about magnifier app but in built feature that appeared by tapping on the ‘+’.

I had hopes with the new update i.e, iOS 17.1.2 but to no avail.

Its an important feature, it should be back.
