Mac mini reboots unexpectedly

While working the Mac mini suddenly shuts down and reboots

I may have found the solution and it IS NOT, a software or hardware issue. It appears that it was overheating… (fyi , mine is a late 2012 running OSX Catalina). Try to simply change the fan speed with the fan control app… to constant speed at full blast. I also discovered that elevating the mini about 1/2 to 1 inch on its plastic center helps to provide more air circulation. Hope this helps someone else.
