Epson printer off line or busy on my iMac 14 OS

Reset the Printing System, as per > Reset the printing system on your Mac to solve a problem - Apple Support

Try restarting in Safe Mode and then restart normally and test. Also follow den.thed's suggestion of resetting the printing system!!

Also, when posting we need more info than you provided. We need to know the model year iMac, the version of Mac OS installed (thank you and upgraded Mac OC 14 to the most up-to-date version that was released yesterday!!!) and for printer issues we need to know the model of the printer and how it is connected to your Mac (USB cable, Wi-Fi-, Airprint etc...)
