How can I get access to this new version iOS update

so I’m usually unable to download certain apps because of my iOS version and I’m reminded each and every time as I try to downward certain apps to change the version of my iOS by updating it.I need steps that can possibly help me in doing that.

iPhone 6s Plus, iOS 14

The iPhone 6s Plus can be updated to iOS 15.8 but no later than that. To update, see instructions in Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
