Just upgraded to FCPX 10.7. First morning. Had four crashes so far. At the end of post on a complicated film. Should I, can I, go back to the previous version of FCP? ... and would only lose a half day's work.

The problem reproduces on Intel systems.
You have to have the application, be registered, and I need the eddress you used for Blip.
Glad to hear Blip does work well. Just in case you need an alternative, filemail dot com allows free transfers up to 5GB per 24 hrs.
Thank you terryb ... will check out filemail ... I'm constantly having to transfer files. And I love the idea of right-clicking and there it is, zing, and off it goes.
You have to switch to lanes for that, which might interfere with the rest of your process.
Crashing here as well. One thing I've noticed that can bring on an instant crash: sampling colour with the colour curves. Sample. Crash. Reopen. Sample. Crash. Reopen... Must be a bug, I guess.
More information please. The problem doesn't reproduce on a few tests. What's the media? Does it match the project properties? What's the computer? What's the OS?

And, the other option is to benefit from from the kindness of some generous soul who has that version and Blips it to you.
Sorry to bother you Ben, but if I could circle back to the original problem. What system are you using, and what were you doing when it crashed?

Do you remember what you were doing when it crashed?
I got my M1 in 2021 and was blown away with how much faster and smoother it was than the 2019 MBP.
I think we're up to M3.
Ha ha ha. And you know what I'm doing 1/3rd of my time? Watching the beachball and contemplating apparatus murder.
I'm going to look at the M3's during my break today ... at least online. And dream.
