I have sent my daughter a link to add her to my family group. She has updated her country and region on her phone, but it still will not let her into my family group. We live in the same house, and have the same country and region. This is absurd.

Where on her phone did she update the country / region exactly?
The update needs to happen on her Apple ID. click here ➜ Change your Apple ID country or region - Apple Support
The option in Settings ➜ General ➜ Language & Region, is not relevant for this.
Can't add daughter to family sharing, says country/region does not match, even after country and region have been updated.
