How do I take off the face id

Settings, Face ID and passcode, reset face ID. Note that this would be less secure because people can look at you typing your password in public. They can take your phone, go to Apple ID settings, and change you account password with just your iPhone unlock password and get access to your data. To solve this, go to Screen Time, and set content privacy and restrictions to restrict account changes and passcode changes (so that they can't change your iPhone password), then set a Screen Time password. There was a bug where your changes aren't saved and you need to do it again and I don't know if it's still here, but check that the passcode is turned on and the restrictions are set.

Disable Face ID:

• Go to: Settings
• Tap: Face ID & Passcode
• Type: [the passcode]
• Tap: Reset Face ID

step by step to disable face id:

• Settings app
• Scroll and find Face Id
• Enter your passcode/password
• Then you can disable Face Id for unlock and etc.
