How do I block ads from the games on my phone

I bought Total Ad Block and I still have all these ads popping up when I play games on my I phone. How do I get rid of them?

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 12

If it is a free version of the game you can not block the ads as that is one way the developer makes money. You would need to purchase an ad-free version if available

Total AdBlock does not block ads from apps. Even though Total is in its name, you will continue to get ads. Basically it is a waste of money as it also will do very little to block ads from websites.
