Device already associated with Apple ID 90 day waiting period

Somehow, I was signed into another family member's Apple ID on a new iPhone, so I couldn't access all my music. I discovered the problem, signed into the correct Apple ID, but I'm given this error message "This Device Is Already Associated With an Apple ID", and goes on to say that there's a 90 day waiting period before I can access my music. Is there any way to avoid the 90 day waiting period, short of removing the family member altogether? I don't mind removing her from Apple Music, but I don't think you can choose which apps a family member is entitled to use. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance!

It doesn't have anything to do with Family Sharing. It has to do with switching IDs on a device too frequently. See the article: View and remove your devices that are associated with Apple ID purchases - Apple Support - Read "More about associated devices" at the end where it refers to the 90 day wait. This applies to re-downloading past purchases (you can make new purchases), automatic downloads, and iCloud based services such as Family Sharing, Match, and Apple Music.

You would have to ask Apple. The delay is likely there for a reason.

Select your country (also look for "other" regions), then a product. If you don't see one that handles your issue then keep experimenting with selections until you reach one that gets you a chat session or a telephone call and get the representative to redirect you.
