Can’t get slow horses ep1 season 3 to start

… and it still won’t play on my Samsung.

This is what Samsung Support suggests:

What to do if an app is not working on your Samsung TV - Samsung Support

1. Cold reboot the TV,
2. Update the TV system software, if available,
3. Delete and reinstall the misbehaving app,
4. Reset the ‘Smart Hub’ (I think like a factory reset for the apps part of the TV).

I have been trying to watch season 3 since it came out, that after waiting and waiting for it. It was supposed to begin November 29th! I simply cannot figure out how to get to the 'start'. I have asked on this and other forums, typing in a search just comes up with endless info when it will start, how to watch it (only on Apple TV +) which I have. I love this series and have wasted far too much time trying to get even a 'season 3 episode 1 arrow to click' only the preview is there. Additionally it looks like I haven't even watched season 1 yet and begins with River in the Heathrow chase every time - it is indeed great chase scene but what is going on??

I stream everything on my desktop iMac - I only have internet no TV at all. My mac is older and it can only be updated to Monterey but why this might make a difference is beyond me. On my iPad - 2 years old - I can't access it either - tried installing and uninstalling AppleTV, hard restart ... I know this is a silly pursuit but it's the 'why' that gets me. Any suggestions would be very welcome.

It's not weird, it's Apple. Twice, on the Samsung TV, with an Apple "box", all the apps, Netflix, Prime, Hulu, etc. opened fine, anything you clicked on opened, except the Apple TV app. It opened and you simply could not watch one show, none would open. Now, after watching two seasons of Slow Horses, January 30, 2024, Slow horses goes back to Season 1 Episode 2, again and again. It's not weird, like I said, it's Apple.

Episode 3 is scheduled for release on December 6th.

It’s Dec 8 and episode 3 which released on the 6 th still won’t play.

I have deleted and reinstalled the Apple + app twice and it still won’t play on my Samsung. It will play on a smaller Samsung I have. Cannot figure out why it won’t play episode 3.

Unfortunately that didn’t work. Guess we watch that series on the small tv. Weird that one show doesn’t work. Thank you
