My new iPhone 15 pro max won’t print from hp smart print

I just got my iPhone 15 pro max yesterday, I've installed the latest iOS 17.2 I think it is and I'm trying to print using the hp smart print app. It works fine and it shows that my printer is ready and connected to my phone with a green check mark but I can't push the print button it's grey instead of blue ?

iPhone not able to print after installing IOS 18.3 Have never had a problem printing from my IPhone 25 pro max to HP printer 3760 ,but since installing IOS 18.3, it is impossible to print anything. i used my husband’s old iPhone 7 Plus which cannot be updated any further - and printed as normal HELP please

Unable to print from iPhone to printer My iPhone keeps giving a message indicating that’s “connecting to printer” but it never does. I used to be able to simply print from my iPhone to printer and it’s frustrating to the core!!

Sometimes you have to be on the same WiFi as the printer, are you?
