Always used Apple Maps as my go to navigator. Previous updates have never caused any issues.
recently updated to iOS 17.1.1, and now Apple Maps won’t show speed cameras. Speed camera icons gone & no audible warnings either. Any idea how to get them back ?

It seems to show some of them, but it is definitely much worse. I'm in danger of switching back to Google, although generally I prefer the Apple interface.
I used this feature all the time and it’s reeeeally annoying it’s now gone.

I have noticed this feature has gone about a month ago, i have raised it with apple support tea, but nothing has been done about it!
Usually maps also informs you about accidents, it doesn't anymore. i have started using google maps they don't have the feature too :/
Looks like ill be moving to Waze, which is a shame, really like and prefer apple maps

It looks like that camera's mainly on the Motorways and A roads in the UK are not picked up. Internal roads seems to be fine. I reported this issue as well but there has been no response.
Lost the "50mile an hour speed camera ahead , please watch your speed" announcement this morning , just announced " speed camera ahead " .

Got the same problem. Did a journey on the M6 today it used to warn of all the cameras now none are showing

Its the motorway cameras it’s not picking up, cause when in the A roads there is no problem it picking them up perfectly.
Me too some travelo yellow box cameras are not identified. Even my Toyota speed sensors failed to identify the maximum speed limit yesterday night going on the way to Consett.
I noticed the same thing. I used to use Apple maps all the time as my nav of choice because it had great mapping algorithms, but noticed a distinct lack of camera's a couple of weeks back. I use motorways a lot, so need to know where the cameras are. I can't do with Google maps, their plotting is all over the place, so I moved onto Waze. If Apple sort it, I may move back, but I do like how Waze warns about stationary vehicles, potholes as well as traffic and cameras. You never know what's out there until you start looking around I guess.

Me too. For me it seems to show A road info but NO motorways. I’ve had to delete Apple Maps for now to make sure I dont use it out of habit. Waze until I read that it’s fixed.
After having updated to 17.2.1 and restarting iPhone I now seem to have the cameras back. I cannot see them when 'browsing' a route but during actual navigation they appear with a verbal warning
