My iPad Pro 4th Gen. 11 in. Automatically updated a last night and now Illustrator keeps crashing when I open it. I've tried a hard reset. I've made sure app is updated to Version 3.0.5.
Also, it happened to me when it updated to OS 17.1.1 but turning off the pencil hover effect seemed to have fixed it. But now in OS 17.1.2 it crashes as soon as I open a file. Don't know what to do? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Please try turning off show effects from
Settings > Apple Pencil> and turn off Show Effects.
This option may not be available for all the iPads and may not work with everyone. However, I've tested on my iPad and it worked fine.
Same! I am so frustrated, I have tried everything, and I literally cannot do any of my work, it just keeps crashing. APPLE PLEASE HELP this is horrendous. I haven’t been able to use my illustrator for over a week now. I tried the tricks with changing the settings on the pencil and it worked for a second but keeps crashing still.
