Apple Music Playlist
Every time i add a song to my playlist, it downloads into my library. i don’t want that to happen and it only started a few days ago. i have a subscription so i don’t have to buy songs. what is going on?

Check your Music Settings, specifically:
Settings -> Library -> "add playlist songs" OFF
It's the setting that "Adds songs to your library when you add them to your playlists."
It probably got accidentally switched on in after an update or something
