Photo USB Duplicate Problem

I'm transferring all my photos from my phone to my computer then to a usb drive. Everything was going well until some photos had an error or something. I want to try to transfer those photos again but don't want to go through the 5,000+ photos that are there when only a little over 200 had an error. But when I try to export them over from my photos app on my MacBook it doesn't give the "this photo already exists" and then the "keep both, stop, and whatever else" it just transfers them over. How do I make it so I can select all my photos in my photo app and transfer them and get that notification that says "apply this to all duplicates" and only copy over the ones that didn't work? I really don't want to go through all those photos because frankly I just don't want to.
