Troubleshooting Debris:
It does not look like scratched, from what I can tell. However, there are scoops on the screen, and I take it that is from rubbing cleaner over the screen. By lightly rubbing over it with your finger, do you feel a bumps? If not, it is highly in question, and you should get this serviced by Apple.
Perhaps this is a Faulty Device?
This is a hardware failure. It is time for a new screen. How old is this Mac? Do you have AppleCare+ with this? IF less than one year, then note that you have a one-year, out-of-the-box, limited warranty with this. So, contact Apple Support, seeing if you can get the screen replaced. Take this in for a Genius Bar Appointment at your local Apple Store. Bring a proof pf purchase with you. There, it would be diagnosed, and you'd be provided with a cost.
