You are welcome.

Give Apple a Call:

Being a factory reset did not fix this, nor did a network reset, then I suggest your give Apple Support a call. Things should not be going through, if they were closed a long time ago. Being you are having this as an ongoing issue, is another reason to contact Apple Support. Report back what they say.

Apple Support Contact Us Info:

  • Contact Us - Choose Locations
  • Proceed from there as necessary
  • Note: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through, sure enough.

So, what to do...

Reset to Factory Settings:

If you are so concerned, then reset you iPhone to factory settings, as if you were to sell it. Perform as instructed here, including the backup creation iCloud logout: What to do Before you Sell, Give Away, or Trade in your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support.

Ridding of Old Network Traffic:

Reset your Network Settings:

You are seen what are records. So, make a copy of your passwords, and then rest your network settings.

  1. Go here: If your iPhone or iPad won't Connect to a Wi-Fi network - Apple Support
  2. Scroll to: Reset your network settings
  3. Proceed from there as instructed.
