Snooze turned off but alarm continues to use the snooze feature.

iOS 17.1.2 Before this last update the alarm worked just fine. When the alarm was going off, I would touch the screen, and the alarm would stop. After the update, when I touch the screen to silence the alarm there's a snooze countdown timer at the top of the screen and the alarm will continue to go off. Apparently, this happens when you inadvertently swipe up. In the setup for the alarm the snooze is turned off. So what this means is; when people turn off the snooze option, it means they don't want that feature to occur. For example; when the snooze option is turned off in the alarm settings, it means they want it to continue to be off after they silence it the first time. So I'm wondering if there is a super secret hidden place to disable the snooze option, other than in the settings for that specific alarm?
