How to find the owner of an iPhone

I bought an iPhone but it’s stolen, 
I want to return it to the owner, 
I contacted the police, they said that 
I’m stupid, no one would do this, 
they won’t have much to do since 
there’s a war in the country, 
I checked the phone, it’s locked, 
there’s no sim card, the phone is from 
Poland, I’m in Ukraine, 
I want to return it, help me find the owner

How can I return a stolen iPhone to the owner? Hi! About a week ago i bought a iPhone 7 from stock market in my local area. Please recycle the phone. Apple has no way for you to find the owner.
