MacBook Pro M1 problems with Logic and UAD plugins

Hi,

I recently got a 16 inch Macbook Pro M1 (10 Core) and a UAD solo interface. I have been running Logic natively without a problem, but found projects were starting to crash even though the activity monitor suggested I was far from maxed out on CPU.

I then opened Logic in Rosetta mode. This meant I first of all got a bunch of error modes from UAD saying my plugins were now disabled but also when I ran the same projects it was super glitchy with an error message saying, 'error while trying to synchronize audio and midi.' It was also overload due to CPU issues. I have tried opening Midi Setup but I cannot change the sample rate to what the project is asking for as it is not listed there.

Really hoping I can get this sorted as appreciated being able to use layered tracks up until now.

Any help would be appreciated? Not sure if I should try and run in natively with less tracks or find a way to fix the sync issues in Rosetta...

Thanks

David
