How do I update the payment method for applecare+ on my wife's iPad that I'm not signed into?

April 2023 I bought an iPad(10th gen) for my wife using my apple id & got the applecare+. Now I need to update the payment method. I can't see that iPad in my support to update the payment method, I've never signed into it. Can I cancel & then she signs-up for applecare+? If so, how do I cancel it?

AppleCare purchase via Apple ID I received an apple gift card, which I redeemed to my apple id account. The amount shows up in my Apple ID on my laptop, iPad, and iPhone. I want to use it to purchase AppleCare for my iPad, but for some reason that is not an accepted payment option. Other forums say that you can use the Apple ID credits to pay for AppleCare. How do I do this?

If the payment is tied to your Apple ID, then you need to update it on your Apple ID, not hers or her device.
