Can’t mute notifications at night, turns off alarm

Before the new update, the sound worked great. If you wanted to go to bed, you could silence your phone, and notifications and calls would be turned off. Your alarm clock, obviously, was not affected by putting your phone on silent.

Suddenly, that is not an option. Some, disreputable person, decided that that function is not necessary. And took that option away.

With the volume turned off, notifications still rang at full volume. Cause who wouldn’t want that while they are sleeping? A dozen messages from the other side of the world at two in the morning at full volume are Wonderful.

Turning down the volume on your phone no longer puts the phone on silent.

You Can turn down the volume on the notifications, if you dig through the settings at 2 am, but not turn them off They are still on. They are not muted. They are still on. So they still continued to beep and give me insomnia at 2 in the morning.

This same wonderful person decided that if you Do turn down the volume on your notifications, then you would obviously WANT TO TURN THE VOLUME DOWN ON THE ALARM CLOCK.

There used to be a setting where you could tell the phone not to mute the alarm clock. It used to be standard that it would not mute the bloody alarm clock.

Please fix
