Calibrating multiple batteries

Quick question. I've been terrible about calibrating my batteries and have two to calibrate. If I let the first one drain out, can I swap out the other battery when I turn it off instead of waiting the five hours and then get started on the next one? Or is it charge it, let it drain, wait five hours, charge it again, rinse and repeat with the next battery?

Power Mac/iMac G5, Mac OS X (10.4.7)

No, it needs to continue being drained for at least five hours (after it goes into forced sleep there's still a small drain on the battery which is what you need to make sure it's as empty as possible before you start the recharge) so, removing it will interfere with the recalibration.

I just time mine so it goes into forced sleep just before I go to bed (then I leave it about 7 hours draining) then connect the power in the morning and work away while it charges ...
