I am not getting any sound from my macbook speakers after updating OS Sonoma to 14.1.2 (23B92) recently. Though the same is working with earphones connected to the laptop. Please help.
Here's my laptop's current sound settings -

—Shutting down and restarting more than once since your "updating"...
—A SafeBoot Use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support will sort many anomalies
—Look at the Audio Midi Setup.app and see about making some changes there.
Set up MIDI devices using Audio MIDI Setup on Mac
—if those "earphones"(?) are blue tooth try turning off the blue tooth from the menubar and test
from the Control Center— toggle options then come back to your preferred:
