how to connect 2 monitors to mac mini 2

I'm assuming that your mini is the M2, and not the M2 Pro model ... correct?

If so, then it can support two external displays simultaneously. Those two displays can be connected to either:

• 2 Thunderbolt ports, or
• 1 Thunderbolt port, and 1 HDMI port

Depends on what ports are available on the monitors.

You can connect to Thunderbolt or DisplayPort through the USB-C ports, or HDMI through the HDMI port.

The USB-C port can also support an adaptor like DisplayPort to DVI or DisplayPort to HDMI.
