I purchased an Apple laptop elsewhere and used my Apple Card. Now I must pay the balance in full rather than installments. I didn’t buy it from Apple because I would be paying for a gift card that I do not want. I already have 2 that I paid for and because I am 80, I don’t know then numbers that were sent by email. Why can’t I pay in installments.

Only Apple provides the installment payment using the Apple Card. You could also apply your gift cards to the cost. You need not purchase a gift card either. If you wish installment payment you might see if you can still return your laptop and purchase with Apple.

I will return it and purchase again at Costco. It is $749 as opposed to $999 with a gift card. Pain in the neck. Plus Costco charge gives a percentage back. I am done with apple. I have 3 Ipads, a new mac, a watch a new phone….
