Calendar alaram does not work when iphone is turn to silient mode

I got many distructing notification so I cannot turn the silent mode off. But I need to be reminded by the calendar when I have an appointment. I know I can use a alarm, but imagine, you have an appointment 2 weeks later. Can you use set an alarm for that?

Unable to hear Calendar notifications in iPhone I’ve lately been missing notifications of calendar appointments, not because they’re not showing up on my phone but because I’m not hearing them, or noticing the banners. I do have notifications set up, including sound, but lately I need the equivalent of a phone that grabs me by the shoulders and shakes me until I say, “Got it!” I’m not sure what kind of help I’m asking for in this case. Maybe whether other flakes with a propensity to have their heads in a cloud have come up with hacks to get absolutely unignorable notifications, at least for their calendar appointments. You might want to consider using Focus instead of silent mode. You can chose which apps can notify you.
