no carplay in settings
i have a 13 pro and tried to send my navigation to car and didn’t work… checked settings and i don’t have carplay showing up at all??

With CarPlay, you connect your iPhone to the car’s screen system (often by USB), then the car’s screen loads select apps from iPhone that are CarPlay-supported. It runs the apps from the iPhone — there is no “sending” of navigation; you operate iPhone apps on a different screen.
The car’s screen system for the driver must support CarPlay for this to work.
- The only CarPlay setting on iPhone is for wireless connectivity (and voice control). The rest is automatic and doesn’t need configuration on iPhone.
By default, the CarPlay screen will show the Apple Maps, Apple Music, and Phone app, with a control for additional other supported apps (navigation apps, audio-focused apps).
