why if im upgrading my ios version it cant be download because you are no longer connected to internet

There are a number or reasons why this message can appear. Can you please provide a screenshot?
Some of the common reasons are trying to update using cellular data, using a Hotspot, VPN is installed on the phone, a previous beta version is installed, or a previous update failed and the software is still on the phone. Low battery will do it as well.
