iPad (and iPhone) randomly saves PDFs to Files app for NO reason.
Almost every time I go to my device's Downloads folder (NOT iCloud) I find about a dozen or so random PDFs of webpages I've visited saved there...
I did not and never have asked the device to save them.
This has been going on for years on both my iPads AND iPhones (my successive devices over the years, not a bunch of old devices).
I'm absolutely NOT telling the device to do this and I'm not taking screenshots or anything like that...
I thought it was perhaps because of some gesture or swipe behavior that I'm unaware I'm doing, but I'm now 99.9% sure that's not the case.
I've looked it this several times and have seen other people ask more or less the same question, but the answers people give don't match the OP's actual question (it's like they didn't fully read the question).
The most popular response to similar questions seems to be "you are taking a screenshot of a webpage that's larger that the screen"... and just like the others have said: No, I'm not taking a screenshot at all... I view a page and then randomly some gets saved as a pdf.
Please note: I'm not capitalizing or using bold text to be a jerk, just to stress certain points that seem to be glossed over in other posts/questions
This is just a minor annoyance, but I'd like to have it stop.
Thank you for any advice.
