Blank screen
My brand new MacBook Pro has a totally blank screen and won’t charge. Help!

Begin with If your Mac battery won't charge - Apple Support, then if necessary continue with If your Mac doesn't turn on - Apple Support.
Since it is brand new, I would not hesitate to contact Apple and return it for a full cash refund. Then, immediately buy another one. What you describe should not happen and you should not have to be burdened with figuring it out.
