Recording not working on Logic Pro

So I just got Logic Pro 10.7.9 and I'm having difficulty recording my guitar through it using either a mixed amp or a HiZ input on the Universal Audio Apollo Arrow. I have no such problem in GarageBand or in their Luna recording system. Everything works beautifully in GarageBand but not in Logic. All I hear in logic are clipped sounds when I really push the volume but no actual audio track. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I did enable Logic Pro in Settings | Privacy & Security | Microphone | Logic Pro. I have an M1 Pro MacBook running Sonoma. Sampling Rate is the same everywhere (44.1) in console and in logic.
