Canvas Videos Not Working After Updating to Sonoma

I think this new MacOS is not allowing me to play videos through Canvas > Media Gallery anymore. I started experiencing this problem after I updated to this new OS and the videos play just fine on my other devices. It just doesn't work on my laptop. However, other video services like YouTube work. I've tried rebooting, playing it on another browser, and reaching out to Canvas support. Nothing helped.
