My laptop crashed and changed main board recently, so installed final cut pro and realised files such as titles, effects , and other basic files are not showing at all.
tried to install effects but can't since there's no files to add as shown in the pictures.
any idea what's wrong with my final cut pro?

Not sure what this is supposed to be showing. Are you saying titles are missing in FCP? Try installing the application from the App Store.
What computer and Is version is this?
Use Shift-Cmd-4 to activate screenshots. Drag a selection on the screen and it saves to the desktop.
That’s all that’s in that pane. Effects and Transitions are in the top right of the Timeline pane.
For an excellent introduction to FCP start with Steve Martin’s 60 minute intro. For a more in depth introduction use the Izzy video tutorials. The version is a bit dated but the principles are the same.

Third party titles and effects are added into Motion Templates. As I said that’s where third party content goes. The developer should provide details instructions for installation. Not all developers use the same location. Some have dedicated installers.
but still doesn't get why i can't add any additional titles or effects into final cut pro :(

when I search Motion templates in finder, nothing shows as well

When I click on to Motion Templates folder, I don't see any files such as titles, effects,transitions and so on)
mine is Macbook Air and updated to latest version of OS 14.1.2
my final cut pro has only titles and generators only
deleted app and re-installed but still the same

Which MacBook Air?
Only third party content is in Motion Templates. Are you missing titles and effects inside the application? Did you reinstall the application?
final cut files missing (titles,back up,effects,etc)
