The Other Storage is usually cache files that will be deleted automatically when the storage is needed. There are some tips to help reduce the caches.

  • Set Messages to auto delete after a period of time at Settings > Messages > Keep Messages
  • Clear website cache at Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data
  • Social media apps are notorious for saving temporary cache files. Many of them can be deleted to remove the cache files and then redownloaded. Your data is saved on their servers, so when you sign back in you will get all of your current data back without the extra baggage of the cache files. These are apps like Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Twitter(or X).

Don't forget the restart after you have done this.
