Photo shuffle wallpaper

So we recently upgraded our phones to iphone 15 pro ios 17.2 and we have been playing around with lockscreen photo shuffle of an album but we are having an issue with all photos getting the perspective zoom applied and there seems to be NO option to pinch crop when using photo shuffle album mode. I can pinch zoom photo if I used just one photo but when I select option to shuffle an album the pinch zoom thing isn’t an option so photos look distorted or cut out people. It’s very annoying. Is there a way to turn off this perspective zoom when using photo album shuffle?
