Best Checkbook/Financial software - non subscription model

Looking to upgrade from Quicken 2015 on my new MacBook Pro IOS 14

Quicken switched to a subscription model and my old Quicken 2015 software from IOS 10.11.6 does not transfer/operate on my new Mac.

I already own Logic Pro on my Mac as a one-time purchase. With the introduction of this new bundle, can I continue using my existing version of Logic Pro as usual? Chasing FCP on macOS - Monterey possible? I have been chasing FCP for a number of years ... it seems that every time I try to purchase it, the minimum macOS version has changed to something beyond what I have. At the moment, Sonoma 14.6 is the minimum requirement ... and it just happens that I just installed a refurbished Mac for my wife that has Sonoma 14.7.3 on it. So far, so good, I could actually purchase FCP! Here's my question - if I purchase FCP 11 using my wife's iMac running Sonoma (using my Apple ID), is there any chance I might be able to download to my own iMac( running Monterey 12.7.6) a version of FCP that is compatible with Monterey? This method has been suggested quite often, but has anyone ever done this successfully? I've had no success doing it with other apps that I've tried in the past and I cannot justify a $300 spend unless it's going to work.
