I get this Dialog box when selecting any recent screenshot icons on the desktop: "The file “Screenshot date and time” doesn’t exist." on my new MacBook Air . Can't open in Preview.

For example I rendered 10 images in succession via Photoshop, and some of them came out 3x the file size and with yesterday's date. On other occasions some jpeg/png files would show up in Finder as "Adobe Photoshop document". This behavior is not limited to Photoshop, so that's why i'm discussing it on the mac forum. Any suggestions on how i can remedy this issue?

Screenshots Not Saving to Desktop After using Cmd/Shift/5, and the screenshot / record popup comes up, I press either enter or the 'capture' button to take a screenshot (regardless of the type of screenshot), and the image is not saved to my desktop. I cannot find it anywhere on my Finder or computer whatsoever. I have already checked my keyboard shortcut settings and they are all marked 'on' for screenshot shortcuts. No I am not recording, I have been using this feature for years now and have only been experiencing this problem today. I recently bought the newest Macbook Pro 14-inch, and it is updated to the latest version as well. Please let me know if there is a fix for this.

Why are my PDF edits disappearing in my MacBook Air Preview? It happens sometime, I edit a PDF (add text, shapes, etc.) using Preview, I save the edits. When I come back a day later, all the edits are gone. (even after saving the file, & some old edits were also gone) Sometimes I can go to File - Revert to and find the edits but this doesn't always work and if I edited the PDF more than once, there will be a different file for each edit set, with the edits made then only, but not all the edits over multiple times. This is really annoying!!! Does anyone have the same issue? I am using Mac OS Monterey 12.7.6. [Re-Titled by Moderator]
