Erase info from an old iphone
I have a very old iPhone a family member wants to use. Since it's not set up with wifi how can I erase my information from the phone

Is the phone operational? If yes, you can tap Settings > Wi-Fi and choose your Wi-Fi network for the phone.
Then, tap Settings > General > Transfer or Reset Phone > Erase All Content and Settings
Otherwise, you can connect the phone to a Mac or PC. Not as easy as the steps above, but doable. We would need to know what operating system is installed on the Mac or PC.
