There is clearly an issue with a basic right-click action, reported over and over in the attached thread.
How come the only suggestion for right-clicks breaking further mouse functions is "don't do it"?
Sonoma 14.5 made it a bit better, but the issue is still there. A temporary fix for me is locking/unlocking my MacBook Pro.
It will be good if there's a fix for this soon, seems like a basic functionality is not working properly.

I don't understand the work flow...
If there is an issue right click left click back and forth— then don't
