NFC app does not read all rfid chips

I have tried various different NFC apps on the iPhone 11 Pro running OS 17.1.2. The apps read the chips in some rfid cards but not others. The id’s produced by the cards the phone/app can read, are both in the format nn.nn.nl.nl.ln.nn.nn where n is a number and L is a letter. The staff id card I need to read but can’t, should have an 8 figure number for its ID code. Other people with old Android phones (sadly working from a different location) using the Android version of the same apps have been able to get the code out of their staff ids. I need to register the 8 figure number on an admin system to access an electrical vehicle charge point at work. I don’t actually need to use my staff ID, I could use a store loyalty card for example, if it had an 8 figure code, but if one of my multiple cards has a code in this format, the iPhone does not appear capable of reading it.

If you find yourself encountering issues with third-party apps or a particular website or product, reaching out to the respective app developer, or manufacturer can be a helpful step in resolving the problem.

How to Contact an App Developer:

  1. In-App Support: Many apps offer an in-app support feature. Look for a "Contact Us" or "Help" section within the app's settings or menu. This may provide you with direct contact information or a form to submit your query.
  2. App Store or Website: If you can't find in-app support or need additional assistance, visit the app's page on the respective app store --> How to contact an app developer - Apple Support
  3. Email Support: Check if the developer has an official support email address listed on their website or app store page. Send them an email explaining the issue you're facing. Be detailed in describing the problem to receive relevant assistance.
  4. Social Media: Some developers maintain active social media profiles. Reach out to them through platforms like Twitter or Facebook, describing your issue or sending them a direct message.
  5. Community Forums: Many apps have dedicated user forums or communities where you can ask questions and seek help from other users or the developers themselves.
