Mass delete of all downloaded Music files on Mac
Old Mac 12” 2017
Big Sur
battery expiring
apple music subscription
thousands and thousands of downloaded audiobook tracks, most set up as 1-CD = 1 playlist
need to migrate to new Mac but before that need to permanently delete all these downloads for space and also because the migration assistant process stalled when the old Mac couldn’t sustain enough charge to complete. (Both Macs plugged in.)
my theory is if I can get even 80% of the 180gb worth of music downloaded permanently deleted, then the file transfer will be faster and can be completed before old Mac needs time to recharge!
cannot possibly delete them one playlist at a time. Looking for batch option.
again, this is on a Mac not an iPhone. Haven’t seen an answer to this Q yet.
MacBook, macOS 11.7
